Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relevance of the millennial generation's involvement in human resource development (HRD) in the digital era. The millennial generation, born between 1981 and 2000, now dominates the global workforce and has unique characteristics such as job orientation, flexibility, and the use of high technology. Through a literature review of various international studies, it was found that millennial involvement has a significant influence on the effectiveness and sustainability of organizations. HRD plays a strategic role in accommodating the needs of this generation through a digital learning approach, inclusive leadership, and the implementation of sustainability-oriented Green Human Resource Management (GHRM). In addition, the concept of Futures and Foresight Learning (FFL) is seen as relevant to shaping an adaptive, innovative, and ready-to-face workforce of global uncertainty. Aspects of psychological well-being, open communication, and employee retention are also key factors in increasing millennial engagement. The results of the study show that modern HRD must transform from an administrative function to a strategic function that focuses on continuous learning, emotional well-being, and the development of sustainability values
