This study examines the mediating role of entrepreneurial self-efficacy in the relationship between fear of business failure and business growth intention among mompreneurs in Makassar. Using a quantitative explanatory design, data were collected from 400 mompreneurs through a structured questionnaire and analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS 4. The results show that fear of business failure negatively affects entrepreneurial self-efficacy and business growth intention, while entrepreneurial self-efficacy positively influences business growth intention. Entrepreneurial self-efficacy also significantly mediates the relationship between fear of business failure and business growth intention. These findings highlight the importance of strengthening entrepreneurial self-efficacy to support growth-oriented mompreneurship
