Abstract

This research is motivated by the demands of modern organizations to have competent, adaptive, and innovative human resources in the midst of the era of digitalization and global competition. Training and learning are strategic instruments in improving employee performance and building a work culture that is oriented towards continuous learning. The purpose of this study is to analyze the relationship between training and learning on employee performance, highlighting the role of social support, work experience, and digital technology as determinants of its effectiveness. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach using the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method, analyzing 20 published scientific articles in the range of 2011–2025, consisting of 10 international journals and 10 national journals. The selection process is carried out based on the PRISMA 2020 guidelines, through the stages of identification, screening, feasibility evaluation, and narrative synthesis of previous research findings. The results of the study show that training that is designed according to organizational needs and supported by continuous learning is able to improve employee competence, motivation, and performance. The success of the training is greatly influenced by the social support of superiors and colleagues, work experience, and the readiness of the organization to utilize digital technology
